In the period from 1985 to 1997, he was the director of the Ile districtprocurement officeof the Almaty region, the Chairman of the Board of the Talgar district consumer union, the deputy director, the director for procurement of the Wholesale and retail of fruit and vegetable association of the Moscow region. In the period from 1997 to 2000, he was the head of Maksat LLP (Almaty city).

In the period from 2000 to 2006, he worked as a director of Food Contract Corporation JSC for the Southern Region (Almaty city).

From 2006 to 2018 he was the President of Kazakhstan Agrarian Expertise JSC of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana city).
